Kay K. Peebles and her husband Larry are currently living in Georgia north of Atlanta.  She writes articles for their website Thykingdom.com.  She is a member of The Church at Acworth (TCA) in the Atlanta area, and a participant in a weekly home group.  Prior to moving to Georgia, Kay was an ordained Elder at Freedom International Church in Wesley Chapel, Florida. She served on the church board, worship team and headed the prayer ministry. She and Larry were also home group leaders for 3 years.
Kay and her husband Larry have collectively travelled to the following nations: Honduras, Cuba, Costa Rica, Kenya, Tanzania, El Salvador, Kazakhstan and India doing evangelistic and/or service outreach.   She has preached and taught in churches, meetings and conferences overseas and retreats and revival meetings in the United States. Their joint calling is to reach the lost and build up the church (body of Christ) through preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Kay has been a Bible study teacher for over 33 years.  Kay and Larry taught a young married couples’ Sunday School Class for 10 years. She served as Chaplain on the board of A Woman’s Place Ministries (now New Life Solutions) of Tampa, Florida for five years.  She was Bible Teacher at Second Chance Ministries in Lakeland, Florida for five years.  This ministry brought restoration to women who had been in prison and wanted a better life when they were released.
Kay has an AA Degree in Business from Temple College and took extended courses in Business Education at North Texas State University. She worked part-time as a young mother and volunteered for different ministries over her career. She completed seven years of Bible Study Fellowship, three as a discussion leader.
Larry and Kay ministered to juveniles ages 8-18 in two Maximum Security Juvenile Justice Centers in Tampa Florida for 17 years from 1994 to 2011.
It is Kay’s desire that all people have the opportunity to experience a tangible encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Kay and Larry married in 1969 and they have two children and 5 grandchildren.
