Larry W. Peebles attends The Church at Acworth in Acworth, Georgia. He was formerly an ordained minister at Freedom International Church in Wesley Chapel, Florida, and served as Elder, Treasurer, and Board member. At Freedom International, he and his wife Kay also served on the worship team, and led a home group Bible Study. They have been married for 48 years, and have two grown children and five grandchildren.
Larry and Kay have traveled the mission field together, collectively speaking and preaching in churches, meetings and conferences in Cuba, Costa Rica, Kenya, Tanzania, El Salvador, Kazakhstan and India. For over 17 years they ministered together in the Juvenile Justice System in Hillsborough County (Tampa), Florida. He and Kay taught a young married couple’s Sunday School Class for 10 years.
Larry holds a BBA degree from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from North Texas State University. He retired in 2008 after over 35 years in home building and land development. He completed six years of Bible Study Fellowship.
In 2015, Larry and Kay formed Peebles Ministries, and moved to the mountains of Georgia north of Atlanta to concentrate on writing. They have written over 150 weekly articles for their website, thykingdom.com, while continuing to travel to the nations.
His heart is to remain active in the work of the Kingdom of God for as long as he is physically able by taking the inspired Word of God and its message of hope and salvation to the world.
